New Classical Society
Founded in Salzburg in 2025 by Paula Heise and Erik Aren Schroeder, the New Classical Society's concerts and events showcase music, old and new, that takes inspiration from past eras and the European classical tradition. From Mozart's reworkings of Handel to the neoclassical works of Stravinsky and new music grounded in historical styles, the New Classical Society aims to bridge the past and present and sustain a living, (neo)classical tradition.

Does it betoken an impoverishment of our resources that we must have recourse to the past? On the contrary, it reaffirms our links with the past, our traditions and roots. Leonard Bernstein
